Meet the Team

Founder

Christy is a Northwest native, is married to an amazing man, has three crazy cool adult children, and is grandma to three adorable cats. She enjoys yoga, mountain biking, skiing, taking long walks, and working in her yard and on her 1923 house.

BACKGROUND:

Christy received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Western Washington University. She has been certified through the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and is a Diamond-level Certified QuickBooks® ProAdvisor. She founded Gibson Bookkeeping in 2005.

Client Advisor

Kyrsten was born and raised in Sultan. She has a deep appreciation for the beauty of the PNW, loves to be near the water, and is at the beach any chance she gets. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two little ones.

BACKGROUND:

Kyrsten graduated from the University of Washington with a degree in Integrated Social Sciences. She is a certified bookkeeper, and payroll administrator, and is working towards her Certified Accounting Analyst license. Kyrsten has been with Gibson Bookkeeping since 2021.

Director of Operations

Michelle is a self-described “all-in, full-time mom” to three rockstar kids. She loves coffee, crockpots, hummingbirds, soccer Saturdays and Sundays, and watching her girls Greek dance. She also loves rooting for the Sounders and her WSU Cougs and has a heart for travel. Her favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice.

BACKGROUND:

Michelle is a graduate of WSU (Go Cougs!) and joined Gibson Bookkeeping in 2013. She keeps everyone here organized and on-track, looks over our shoulders, and generally makes sure you get what you need from us each month.

Senior Account Manager

Heike grew up skiing the Alps, has tackled the Ragnar, and likes to challenge herself in the world of Dressage. She moved to the PNW in 1999 from Germany, is married, has three great kids, two dogs, a horse, and the cutest cat ever!

BACKGROUND:

Heike has worked in the financial industry for her entire career and began working with Gibson Bookkeeping in 2016. Her attention to detail, knowledge of QuickBooks, and ability to exceed expectations make her a dream to work alongside.

Account Manager

Jamie studied Spanish at the University of Guadalajara and received her TEFL certificate (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) in Barcelona. Jamie grew up an avid skier, is married, has three amazing daughters, and a loyal but crazy Blue Heeler.

BACKGROUND:

Jamie is a Seattle native and received her Liberal Arts degree with a minor in Spanish from Western Washington University. She joined Gibson Bookkeeping in 2017.

Account Manager

Lynda grew up in Hershey, Pennsylvania, where every day was a chocolatey scent sensation. She moved to the majestic PNW 22 yrs ago. When not enjoying an excellent latte, she’s hiking and taking in the beautiful scenery with her husband and two adult sons.

BACKGROUND:

Lynda is a graduate of Juniata College and has served as the PTSA Treasurer (five years and counting) for her children’s schools. She has been committed to her Gibson Bookkeeping clients since 2016.

Account Manager

Sheila was born and raised in Nebraska. She moved to Seattle with her husband, where she embraced the Pacific Northwest with delight. Coffee, mountains, hiking, and the Seahawks have all become a way of life. She loves her two kids, traveling, and gardening.

Sheila graduated with honors from Lincoln Christian University with a BA in Business Administration. She served as Treasurer on Program for Early Parent Support (PEPS) and has been balancing Gibson's clients' lives since 2017.
